Hey everyone! I'm Diana from the US and I'm thinking about doing a little beauty-focused trip to Seoul in the next few months. I've heard so much about the clinics and aesthetics culture there, and honestly I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of exploring it myself.
So here's my question — for people who've been or live there, what are your favorite neighborhoods to base yourself in? I keep seeing Gangnam and Apgujeong come up everywhere, and I get that they're kind of the hubs for this stuff, but I'm wondering if they're actually worth staying in, or if there are other areas that are more chill but still have good access to clinics and dermatologists. Are they walkable? Good for exploring in general?
Also, I'm curious about accommodation — did anyone find it easier to stay in a specific area when they were doing consultations or treatments? I'm guessing I'll need a few days minimum, so I'm trying to figure out the best setup logistics-wise.
Thanks in advance, and if you have any other tips about being a foreigner navigating the beauty scene there, I'm all ears! 😊
