Hi everyone, I'm Huiwen from Taiwan! I've always wanted to experience Korean medical aesthetics during my vacation in Seoul, but honestly, I'm still quite unfamiliar with Seoul's geography. I've heard many people say that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a particularly high concentration of medical aesthetic clinics and seem very popular, but I'm not sure if staying in those areas is the most practical choice.
I'd like to ask my experienced friends – which districts do you usually stay in when you go to Seoul for medical aesthetics? Is Gangnam too expensive? Or are there other areas that are convenient for transportation but more budget-friendly? I'm looking for a place that isn't too far from the clinics but also won't break the bank, haha. Also, can anyone share their experiences with different districts, such as amenities and transportation convenience?
This is my first time planning such a trip on my own, and I'm a little nervous! I'd be super grateful if any of you are willing to share your experiences 😊

Hey Hui-won! I totally get the budget worry — I'm actually planning something similar and trying to figure out the same thing. From what I've read, staying somewhere with good subway access might be smarter than being right in the pricey areas, since you can just hop on the line to your appointments anyway. Would love to hear what other people suggest too!
Hi there, how long are you planning to stay in Seoul? I'm considering between Gangnam and Hongdae because I heard Hongdae is cheaper but still has many beauty spots. I'm just not sure how far it is, hehe 🥺
I'm also planning to go to Seoul for beauty treatments like you! I heard Gangnam is indeed expensive, but there are also nearby surrounding areas that are more affordable while still being close to clinics. You could look into those areas to see! 😊
