Hello everyone! I'm Kim, from Vietnam. Last year I visited Seoul once to try out beauty services, and I want to go back again, but this time I want to prepare more thoroughly.
I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong are areas with many beauty establishments, but I'm not very clear about the location and cost of living there. Do any of you have experience traveling to Korea? Which areas do you usually stay in, and find most convenient? I'm planning to choose an area to stay in that's close to the places offering services I like.
Also, I'd like to ask if you usually stay in hotels, Airbnbs, or guesthouses? How do the prices compare to what I expect? I'm planning to stay for about 5-7 days, so it doesn't need to be too luxurious.
Thank you in advance! Wishing you all beauty! 💛

When I have free time, I go around Gangnam, but actually, Myeongdong is close to the metro, it's cheaper, and it's easy to walk to various shops. Like you, I rented an Airbnb alone. This price is good and reasonable. I intended to go to Gangnam, but in the end, there are general convenience stores, which is quite convenient!
Reflection from me: My friend said it was very good last year when she stayed there and in an apartment near Gangnam, because it was close to the subway station, so traveling allowed her to easily access necessary services. If you are only planning to stay for 5-7 days, a guesthouse seems like a good option, because the price is basically the same, but the rooms are good!
