My name is Ha, and I'm from Vietnam. This is my first time flying to Seoul to experience beauty treatments. I've heard a lot about Gangnam and Apgujeong, but I'm not sure which one is right for me. Could any experienced foreigners help me out?
I want to know where it would be most convenient – close to spas, beauty clinics, and skincare centers? I've heard Gangnam is a big hub but also a bit crowded, while Apgujeong seems more upscale. Which area do you think offers good quality services without being too cramped?
Also, I'd like to ask whether it's better to stay in those areas or nearby for convenience? My budget isn't very clear, so I'm flexible; I just want to find a safe, convenient place where I can speak the language. Do you have any suggestions? How many times have you been there? I've been twice, and I feel that Gangnam is usually very busy, just like you said. But maybe it's better to go during the off-season. 😄
This was my first time getting a beauty treatment in Seoul! Personally, I felt that Gangnam, while bustling, was incredibly crowded. I ended up staying in a quieter, less crowded area nearby, which was much more comfortable. It was just a few minutes' walk to the clinic and much quieter. I suggest you don't necessarily need to stay in the very center; guesthouses or hotels near subway stations are quite convenient and often more affordable.
I'm from the UAE and I've visited Seoul twice 😊 I'm a bit curious - are you planning to stay for a full week or less? Because this might affect your choice of area, especially if you want a break between sessions!
