For those with moles, please read this post.
Before I got the Lipot laser treatment, I was constantly searching for information.
I looked it up on the subway during my commute,
and even before bed lol.
But the more I read reviews, the more confused I became.
Some people saw results, some experienced recurrence,
and some developed hyperpigmentation – all from the Lipot laser.
I wondered how the results could vary so much.
So, I came to one conclusion:
For the Lipot laser, the clinic is more important than the procedure itself.
The results change completely depending on how the energy intensity is set. If it's too strong, you get hyperpigmentation;
if it's too weak, it recurs. I was afraid of this, so I searched for affordable places,
but eventually found a clinic, got the procedure, and now it's been two months lol.
The clinic director personally examined my moles thoroughly.
Instead of just saying it would be fine, they realistically explained the depth of the pigmentation,
how to set the energy intensity, the possibility of recurrence,
and even post-treatment care for hyperpigmentation.
I really liked that the specialist only recommended what was necessary, without any unnecessary additional suggestions.
On the day of the procedure, the Lipot laser treatment itself finished faster than I expected.
It stung a bit, but it wasn't unbearable at all.
However, wearing the Duoderm patch was quite difficult.
The clinic recommended wearing it for about 3 weeks,
but it kept coming off because of sweat and the edges lifting.
So, I took it off after about 2 weeks.
I was worried that I had removed it too early.
But then the brown spot came off with it, which was a relief.
I was so happy on the day I removed the Duoderm!
The feeling of the moles coming off with it was incredible.
It's a feeling you have to experience to understand!!! There wasn't much redness,
and I was relieved that there were no side effects like hyperpigmentation.
This is how I managed my recovery.
Even after removing the patch, my skin was still sensitive,
so I minimized irritation and focused on hydration.
Cleansing: Make plenty of foam, then press gently instead of rubbing.
Moisturizing: Consistently apply a regeneration cream 3 times a day.
Sunscreen: Reapply every 2 hours – this is essential.
Scabs: Never touch them. Let them fall off naturally.
Taking good care of my skin during this period made the recovery faster than I expected.
So now, two months after the Lipot laser treatment,
it's still maintained without recurrence.
This is the most important part, isn't it?
For those who are worried about recurrence after Lipot laser treatment, I think you can achieve good results if you choose the right clinic and manage your recovery well.
Don't just look at the price of the Lipot laser being a few tens of thousands of won cheaper.
Make sure to check these aspects as well!!

I have lentigines too, but I thought they were moles and went to get them removed. The dermatologist recommended I get the LIPO laser, so lol I'm curious about the cost.
It was completely different from a mole lol I'll send you the cost via DM ㅎ
I'm having trouble with hyperpigmentation after getting the Rejuran laser treatment. What kind of sunscreen did you use?
Oh no ㅜ I focused on reapplying the one that's #1 at Olive Young. It must have been really tough if you got discoloration ㅠ I hope you recover quickly.
Isn't it really hard not to pick at scabs? lol My hands just keep going for them.
It's really difficult, but after seeing reviews saying they got hyperpigmentation after touching it, I held back as if my hands were tied. ㅠ
Could I get the clinic's information and the director's name?
This is Director Seo Jeong-ho, and it's the Toks.up clinic in Buldang, across from Cheonan City Hall.
It must have been really tough wearing Duoderm in the summer ㅠ
I told myself to just hang in there a little longer.
How large was the mole area? I'm worried that one session of the Re-Plex laser might not be enough since mine is quite extensive.
It wasn't very big...! If the scope is broad, I think it would be best to get a consultation first.
