Where is the best place to stay for a beauty trip to Seoul?

I've heard that there are a lot of beauty clinics around Gangnam and Apgujeong, but what's it really like? I'm wondering if staying there would allow me to relax nearby after treatments, or if other areas would offer a better balance between beauty and sightseeing.

This is my first beauty trip to Seoul, so I'm struggling to decide where to stay. I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences regarding transportation access, the atmosphere of the surrounding areas, etc. Also, if anyone knows which areas have a high concentration of beauty-related shops, please let me know!
