I'm 47, and lately my vision keeps getting blurry... Especially in the evening, when I look up from the monitor to look into the distance, it takes me a while to focus;;
Traffic lights look a bit hazy too.
But I don't know if this is just presbyopia,
or if something else has started...
I've heard that people in their late 40s should get regular checkups,
but I haven't been to an ophthalmologist until now.
Has anyone had a checkup for similar symptoms?

If you are in your late 40s, it is a good idea to get a checkup... especially since conditions like glaucoma have almost no symptoms, so you won't know if you don't get a checkup.
