Hi everyone! I'm Hong, and I'm going to Seoul for a business trip next month. I'm so excited to finally have the chance to visit some beauty clinics in Korea! I've heard there are a lot of skincare and cosmetic clinics in Gangnam and Myeongdong, but honestly, I have no idea where to go specifically.
I mainly want to try some Korean skincare treatments, like deep cleansing or soothing treatments. I've used some Korean skincare products before, and my skin is in pretty good condition, but I'd like to experience professional on-site treatments. Can anyone tell me how to find a clinic? Is it better to just walk in, or do I need to make an appointment in advance?
Also, I'd like to ask if there are any skincare experiences I absolutely must try in Seoul? And will language be a problem… my Korean isn't very good, and I don't know if the clinic staff speak English or Chinese. Has anyone had a similar experience?

After reading your story, I feel the same way! I also went to South Korea last year and was worried about the language barrier, haha. Try searching for clinics using Google Maps or Korean travel websites, because most clinics in tourist areas have staff who speak at least one English. As for booking in advance, it's always better to book ahead to be sure. There are Thai apps available that you can use.
Oh, I'm planning to go to Selçulk in two months too! I'm worried about the language barrier as well, but it seems there are quite a few English-speaking people in the main medical area. Try searching for clinics on Google Maps or a local app and check the comments to see if any international patients have used them. I think it's okay to just drop by and ask questions beforehand. Hi!
