Hey! I'm Ashley from the US (California, actually) and I just found this community and I'm already obsessed. I've been really into skincare for a few years now, but honestly everything changed when my coworker came back from Seoul last year with this whole routine that just made her skin look absolutely glowing. I was like, okay, I need to know what's happening here lol.
Since then I've been slowly getting into Korean skincare products and learning about treatments over there, but I realize I don't actually know that much about the medical side of things — like the aesthetic procedures and what people actually get done when they visit. I'm thinking maybe down the road I'd want to plan a trip and actually explore it in person, but first I want to get educated and hear from people who've actually been through it.
I'm mostly just curious right now and want to pick people's brains about their experiences. Also probably going to have a million questions about what's realistic vs. what's hype, so I'm sorry in advance 😅 Really glad I found this place!
