Hi everyone! I'm Hsiaoting, and I'm so excited because I finally booked my flight to Seoul! This is my first time in Korea, and besides wanting to go shopping and eat delicious food, what I'm most looking forward to is experiencing Korean beauty and skincare culture. My skin is combination to dry, and I've recently been thinking about trying some Korean skincare treatments or peels, but to be honest, I'm not really sure what the differences are between the various treatments.
I've read a lot of articles online, and it seems like there are several beauty salons to choose from, but I don't know which one is right for me. Could anyone share their skincare or beauty experiences in Seoul? Like, what kind of treatment was it, how long did it take, and how was it? I'm a little overwhelmed right now; should I consult with someone first?
Also, I'd like to ask how everyone chooses which salon to go to? Are there any special things to be aware of? My English is pretty good, but my Korean is completely non-existent. Has anyone had any communication problems? Any suggestions are welcome, thank you!

Wow, that's so exciting that you're going to Seoul! I'm also thinking about trying some of the supposedly great skincare treatments there, so I totally relate to your confusion about treatment options. It's best to consult with an expert before deciding, as everyone has different skin needs!
Hi! I'm just as curious as you - I want to go to Seoul and try out hair and skin care before I bring my dolls. I'm in the same situation as you, so I'm curious what advice you'd get!
Wow, that's so exciting, Xiaoting! I'm also thinking about trying a skin treatment when I go to Seoul, so I'm really curious about other people's experiences. As for communication, I think many people say that staff at popular places can speak English, but it's definitely safer to prepare some keywords or screenshots of your skin condition to make it clearer—hopefully someone can share their experience here!
Wow, you're so good at trying out beauty experiences in Korea! Just a quick question, when you go to Seoul this year, will you be doing a facial massage or a skincare treatment? Are these different types of treatments different in terms of duration? Because there seem to be so many options, it's confusing trying to decide what to try! 😅
