I'm planning to get married next year and have been preparing various things, but the thing stressing me out the most these days is my tattoo...
In my early 20s, I got matching couple tattoos with my ex-boyfriend without thinking much about it.
Back then, they looked pretty...? But looking at them now, I seriously wonder why I even bothered getting them.
It's even more nerve-wracking because it's Hanja lettering. Ha ha ha.
I was worried my family might see them during the formal meeting between families or while preparing for the wedding, so I decided I needed to get them removed before it was too late. That's why I looked into tattoo removal.
While searching, I heard that The Chaoreum in Dalseo-gu is good at tattoo removal, so I went there.
It was amazing to see that they had faded much more than I expected after just one session.
Of course, it doesn't get done in one go, but I felt like I made the right decision to start.
I'll probably have to get a few more sessions, but since it's right in front of Jukjeon Station,
it's convenient to stop by after work, so I think it will be good to keep going there regularly.
I should have gotten them removed sooner...!

Lately, when I look for tattoo removal reviews, I see The Chaoreum in Daegu coming up a lot!! There were also many reviews saying the accessibility is good since it's right in front of Jukjeon Station, so it looks like you chose a good clinic haha.
I feel you! 😅 Decisions made when we're young are really... yeah, sometimes we regret them so much. I hope you succeed with this process, I'm sure it'll get much better after a few more tries!
Ugh I totally get the couple tattoo regret thing lol! So glad you're seeing results already though — that's encouraging! Quick question, have you been doing anything special with aftercare between sessions? I've heard keeping the area really protected from sun makes a big difference with how your skin bounces back.
I totally felt the same way before my wedding, haha! A little tip is that after each treatment, you should take good care of your skin and avoid the sun as much as possible because your skin will be more sensitive than usual. I found the results were even better when I did this!
Oh wow, I'm glad you're seeing results already! One thing I learned during my own removal journey is that keeping the area super clean and protected between sessions really helps with healing faster — like, I was way more consistent with sunscreen and avoiding irritation after my first appointment, and it honestly made a difference in how my skin bounced back. Rooting for you on the wedding prep! 🤍
I feel the same way you do! 😅 Looking back at old couples photos makes me a little embarrassed, but it's great that you started treating it early. It should fade completely in a few months!
