Hi, my name is Cantika! I'm planning to go to Seoul next year specifically for beauty consultations and treatments. But honestly, I'm still confused about where to stay and which areas are best for beauty treatments.
From what I've read, Gangnam and Apgujeong seem to be really famous for aesthetic clinics. Has anyone had experience in those areas? Is it worth it or is it just overpriced? Plus, I'm curious to know if it's better to stay in a hotel nearby, or is it better to stay in another area that's more budget-friendly but still has easy access to treatments?
Honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of options in Seoul. I prefer areas that are walkable, have great cafes, and are, of course, close to treatment facilities. Do you have any recommendations for areas that are suitable for tourists like me? Or do you have any tips on how to research and schedule an efficient beauty trip?
Thanks in advance! So excited to read your experiences 😊

Hi! I'm also planning a trip to Seoul next year. I wanted to ask if you're planning to decide after a consultation, or if you already have a specific treatment in mind and want to research it thoroughly first? Because I feel that the more research you do beforehand, the less likely you are to make a mistake. 😅
Hi! I'm also planning to go to Seoul for a beauty consultation next year. I was wondering if you've already booked a specific clinic, or are you looking for one after you get there? I've heard there are a lot of clinics in Kangnam-gu, but I don't know how to choose the right one 😅
The Gangnan area certainly has a lot of clinics! I stayed there last year, and personally, I found it most convenient to choose a place close to the station. There are also lots of cafes, and it's easy to get around, which was really helpful for my tired body after treatment 😊
I also went to Seoul last month and found Gangnam to be crowded but a bit expensive. Itaewon and Myeongdong, on the other hand, are more affordable, convenient to get around, and have many skincare clinics nearby! I recommend staying in those areas because they're close to many clinics and have plenty of nice cafes to hang out at later 😊
Have you ever traveled to Seoul for beauty treatments before? I'm planning a similar trip, but I'm not sure how long would be ideal to have time for both the treatment and exploring the city.
