Hi, I'm Yuka. I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul next month, and I was wondering which areas foreigners would recommend? I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have lots of beauty-related shops, but what's it really like?
I'm especially concerned about accommodation; I'm wondering if it's better to stay close to the area where I'll be receiving treatment. I'd love to hear from people who have actually experienced it, regarding travel time and convenience. Also, I'd like to know which areas are enjoyable as tourist destinations.
This is my first Seoul beauty trip, so I'd really appreciate hearing about the experiences of other foreign users. I'd love to hear about anything you could tell me, such as where you stayed, which areas you mainly visited, what you liked and what you found challenging!

Hi Yuka! Quick question - are you interested in staying close to one area only, or are you planning to visit several areas during your trip? I'm curious to know if you recommend staying in one area and don't feel comfortable moving around between different regions.
Hello, Yuka! I had the same concerns when I first went on a beauty trip to Seoul, haha. Staying in the Gangnam area is really convenient, and I liked that travel times were short and there were lots of cafes and shopping spots! However, accommodation costs tend to be a bit on the expensive side, so you should make your decision while keeping your budget in mind.
Hi Yuka! I was thinking the same thing, this is a great question. I think it's really important to consider the proximity of the metro when choosing a district, I hope you can help me a lot!
