I have an old scar on my arm from an injury I got in elementary school, and it feels like it's getting darker as I get older, which is really stressing me out. I usually just resigned myself to it, but when I tried to roll up my sleeve for an important meeting recently, this old scar was the only thing visible, and it made me feel so self-conscious. I think it's too late for ointments, so I really need to find a clinic now that specializes in shaving down old scars or performing micro-suturing. Since the area is quite noticeable, are there any places that can definitely treat it to prevent the scar from recurring?

While earlier treatment generally leads to better outcomes, even old scars can be treated. Look into dermatology clinics specializing in scar treatment. I'm currently receiving treatment at I Love Skin Clinic in Gangnam, and my liposuction scars have improved significantly.
It seems like it would be more difficult to remove the older it gets ㅠㅠ You should go to Cheongdam Jium, as they are famous for being a scar specialist hospital.
I'm not sure if a scar from childhood can be completely removed cleanly after so much time has passed.
