It doesn't hurt that much except for the anesthesia! But it varies from hospital to hospital, so make sure you do your research before you go. I had it done at Cheongayeon in Sinsa, and maybe because the director was so meticulous, I didn't experience any discomfort or anything, and the design turned out exactly the way I wanted it.
