Hi everyone! I'm Xinyi, from Taiwan. I'm planning a medical aesthetics trip to Seoul this year, but honestly, I'm quite lost about which area to stay in. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a particularly high concentration of clinics, which sounds convenient? But I'm also unsure if accommodation in those areas is particularly expensive or if transportation might be inconvenient.
I'd love to hear about your experiences – if you're traveling specifically for medical aesthetic treatments, which district do you usually choose to stay in? Is it to be close to the clinics, or are there other considerations? I'm not very familiar with Seoul's geography, and I'm also curious if those areas have any good shopping or dining spots besides medical aesthetics?
Also, I wanted to ask if it's really necessary to book appointments far in advance? I can probably only stay for about a week, and I'm wondering if that time might be too rushed. Has anyone had a similar experience they could share? Thanks!
