Hello ladies! I'm Noor from the UAE and I've decided to go to Seoul next month for skincare and aesthetic treatments. I've heard a lot about the Gangnam and Apgujeong areas being famous for aesthetic clinics and centers, but I'm not sure exactly which area to choose for accommodation.
This is my first time going to Korea and I don't want to waste my time on transportation. Is it really better to stay near the area with the clinics? Or are there other nearby areas with slightly cheaper accommodation options? What do you think – is Gangnam very expensive or reasonable?
I also want to know: Is it better to go with a recommendation from someone known, or can I go and check out the clinics myself? And how many days do you recommend I spend in Seoul so I don't rush and get tired? Any tips for foreigners visiting for the first time?

I'm also visiting Seoul for the first time, so I totally get how you feel! I found that staying near Gangnam or Apgujeong is more convenient because it's close to the treatment centers and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around, but the room prices are a bit steep. If you want to save money, you could stay in areas a little further out; it's only a few subway stops away. You should stay longer to have more time to explore and not feel rushed 😊
This is my first time in Seoul too, I totally get how you feel! I think staying near the clinic is definitely convenient, so you don't have to spend too much time commuting every day, especially since you might be tired after skincare treatments. However, I've heard there are actually quite a few options around Gangnam, so maybe looking for nearby guesthouses or small hotels might be a bit cheaper. As for whether to look at a lot of guides in advance, I don't think it's necessary to rush. Give yourself some time to understand and choose slowly, that way you'll feel more at ease too~
