Hello everyone! My name is Wen, and I'm planning to go to Seoul in the second half of this year for a small treatment and to experience Korean beauty firsthand. I've seen many people online recommend Gangnam and Apgujeong, but honestly, I'm not very familiar with Seoul's geography and would like to ask for everyone's real experiences.
If you were going specifically for beauty treatments, would you choose to stay in Gangnam or Apgujeong? I've heard that these two areas have a high concentration of clinics, but I'm not sure which specific area is more tourist-friendly. How are the conveniences for transportation, dining, and shopping? Are there any other recommended areas?
Also, I'd like to ask everyone, as a foreign woman traveling alone to Seoul, will safety and language communication be an issue? Has anyone been able to share their experiences? My English is okay, but I have zero Korean skills 😅

I went alone too, and I felt that Gangnam subway transportation was especially convenient. You can find food everywhere you go, and many staff members can speak English, so you don't have to worry too much about language barriers 😊
