I've heard Gangnam is a big hub for everything related to beauty, but I'm not sure if it's the best place, or if Apgujeong is also good?

Do any of you have experience exploring beautiful places in Seoul? Which areas have lots of places to explore, eat, and shop? And which area is best to stay in for easy access to beauty treatments and convenient transportation? I'm also unsure where to book accommodation to optimize my time.
