Hi, I'm Hesti! Just joined this community 🙋♀️
Hi everyone! I'm Hesti from Jakarta. I just found this community and I'm super excited to join you all. So, my interest in K-beauty and aesthetic treatments started from scrolling through TikTok and Instagram. Over time, I became more and more curious, especially about their skincare routines that look simple but yield amazing results.
What made me take it more seriously was seeing friends who had tried treatments in Korea and how much more confident they looked. It made me want to learn more about what's possible and what the process is actually like. There's still a lot I don't understand, so I hope to learn from your experiences here!
Right now, I'm starting to visit a local dermatologist for consultations, but I'm happy to chat with people who have direct experience in Korea. Who knows, maybe I'll be brave enough to take a trip there and try it myself someday! Anyone want to share their first experience? I'm a bit shy but very curious 😅

I don't really apply sunscreen because it makes my eyes water.

Welcome! 😊 I also got interested in K-beauty after seeing it on social media. My biggest takeaway from my trip to Seoul last year was realizing how different local skincare philosophies are – they really emphasize layering and patience, and don't rush into using overly complex products. If you ever get the chance to go, remember to pack an empty suitcase, haha, it's so easy to go on a shopping spree!
