Hi everyone! I'm Cinta, I just joined this community. So I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month and I'm super excited to explore the K-beauty scene firsthand. My skincare routine already includes Korean products, but I'd really like to try a facial or treatment there, maybe so I can see for myself how the process works.
Has anyone tried a skin consultation at an aesthetic clinic in the Gangnam or Myeongdong areas? I'm curious about their experience and whether the staff speaks English or requires a translator. I have sensitive skin, so I'm a bit apprehensive, but I want to try something new. My budget is flexible, but I'm still working with my wits, hehe.
Oh, and do you have any suggestions for local skincare products that are different from those sold in Indonesia? Or are there any beauty streets/areas I should visit? Sorry for the many questions, I'm just excited and have never been to Korea before. Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

To Shinta! Since you have sensitive skin, I think it's important to explain your skin condition in detail during the initial consultation. I also have sensitive skin, but the staff listened carefully to me, which put me at ease. Having a translation app is reassuring in a pinch 😊 Have fun in Seoul!
Cinta, I'm also Vietnamese and I went to Seoul last time! 😄 I found Gangnam and Myeongdong really vibrant, with so many places to explore K-beauty products. A little tip: you should prepare a list in Korean (or photos) of your skin condition beforehand, so it's easier to explain when you go to consultation places – although many places have English-speaking staff, basic Korean will help a lot!
Hi Love! Wow, your trip to Seoul was so much fun! I was also curious when you mentioned sensitive skin—have you ever tried a facial or any other treatment in Indonesia before? I'd love to know what your experience was like, so I can prepare myself the next time I want to try it there. 😊
