Hi everyone! I'm planning my first trip to Seoul specifically to look into some aesthetic treatments, and I'm totally overwhelmed by where to even start lol. I keep seeing everyone talk about Gangnam and Apgujeong as like *the* areas for this stuff, but honestly I'm not sure if that's just hype or if there's actually a big difference between neighborhoods?
I'm hoping to spend maybe a week there and want to figure out where would be best to base myself. Like, should I stay directly in Gangnam if I'm going to be doing consultations and treatments there? Or are there other areas that are just as good but maybe less touristy? I'd love to explore the neighborhood vibe too — good cafes, food, that kind of thing — not just clinic hopping.
Also curious if any of you have done a "beauty trip" before and what your experience was like. Did you regret where you chose to stay? Any neighborhoods that surprised you? I'm a bit nervous about going alone, so hearing real experiences from other foreign visitors would honestly help a lot.
Thanks in advance! 💕

At first, I was quite nervous about this, but after my last visit, it was great! While staying in Gangnam is good, I realized it could be a bit pricey at times, so other nearby districts might be better. What's important is how you feel about it yourself, and I thought cafes and lively areas were really important.
