Hi everyone! I'm Shan, and I'm planning to spend a week or two in Seoul this fall to get some cosmetic procedures done. I've heard there are many clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong, but I'm not very familiar with Seoul and don't know where to stay for convenience.

Have any of you ladies had procedures done in these two areas? Gangnam seems really lively, but I've also heard it's very crowded? Is Apgujeong more upscale? I'm mainly looking for a place to stay that's close to a clinic and convenient for dining and shopping.

Also, I'd like to ask how you chose your areas if it's your first time in Seoul? Are there any things I should be aware of? My friend said Seoul's subway system is very developed, but I'm still a little worried about getting lost on my own, haha. I'd especially like to hear advice from other international travelers, as we might encounter the same problems!
