I would like to inquire about rhinoplasty using autologous septal cartilage, ear cartilage, or rib cartilage, or using donated tissue from another person.
In the case of such autologous tissue rhinoplasty, can it be assumed that there is permanently no risk of inflammatory reactions when compared to rhinoplasty using artificial and semi-permanent implants (such as silicone, Gore-Tex, or Medpore)?
For example, unless a tumor or other special, exceptional condition occurs directly on the autologous tissue, should it be assumed that there will be no side effects, including inflammation, for a lifetime due to perfect integration or adhesion with the body's own tissue?
