Hello everyone! I'm Kartika, and I'm super excited because next month I'm going to Seoul for the first time! 🎉 I've wanted to experience the K-beauty scene there firsthand for a long time, and it's finally happening.

I'm really keen to try genuine skincare treatments and perhaps consult with a local esthetician, as my skincare routine needs an upgrade. I mostly use drugstore products, but I'm curious about the treatments they offer there—are they worth it or just hype? My skin is combination and quite sensitive, so I'm a bit wary of overly aggressive treatments.

If anyone has experienced treatments or visited popular skincare areas in Seoul, I'd love to hear your stories! What do you recommend? Honestly, I'm also still unsure about a realistic budget for treatments there. Also, any tips for communicating with estheticians if my Korean isn't fluent or their English isn't great?
