Hi! I'm Mae from the US (East Coast, specifically) and I just found this community and I'm so excited to be here. I've been lurking for a bit and everyone seems so helpful and real, which is honestly refreshing.

So honestly, my K-beauty journey started pretty randomly? A coworker came back from Seoul last year and brought me some sheet masks and a toner, and I was like... okay this is actually nice. Then I fell down the rabbit hole on TikTok and YouTube watching people's routines, and I got curious about the actual aesthetic treatments people get done there. I've always been interested in skincare but never really explored the medical side of things, so the whole concept of going to Korea specifically for treatments is kind of intriguing to me.

I'm still super new to all of this though and have so many questions. I'm not even sure where to start with research or if I'm ready for anything yet, but I love learning about what other people's experiences have been.
