I'm looking for a good orthodontic clinic, but I'm not sure what criteria to use.
They all look great in the reviews, so will I really need to go for a consultation to get a feel for it?
Do you also look at the doctor's experience or the equipment used when choosing a good clinic?
I'm worried about the pain and the duration of treatment, so is there anything I absolutely must ask during the initial consultation?
What was the most important factor for everyone when looking for a good orthodontic clinic? Haha.

I'm looking into places with a lot of orthodontic experience, and also checking if they're established enough that I don't have to worry about them closing down, and if they have a certified orthodontist. Right now, I have one place on my list: Shillin Yonsei U-Line Dental Clinic..! It fits my criteria perfectly.
Thanks to a friend's connection ㅎㅎ
I ask around a lot lol
My older sister had successful orthodontic treatment at Leon Dental Clinic, so I was already pretty much decided on going there ㅎㅎ I think it's good to consider how experienced the clinic is, given how long they've been around, and whether it's a place you can feel reassured about even after your braces are off.
1. The dental clinic's reputation
2. Whether it's a long-established clinic (years in practice)
3. The lead dentist's experience (orthodontic experience)
4. Whether they have orthodontic specialists/certified dentists
5. Whether the clinic has good reviews... Since there aren't many places that meet these criteria, try visiting places like Central Dental Clinic, Good Face Sampoong Dental Clinic, or Go Beom-yeon Dental Clinic.
A long-time friend from that area recommended it!
That's right, the director's experience really seems to be crucial! I also looked for places that specialize in orthodontics and went for consultations, and after consulting, I realized that each clinic had a pretty different approach.
My case was one where I was even recommended surgery at other places, but at Choi & Lee Dental Clinic, where I'm currently going, they looked at my condition and explained that it was possible to achieve results without surgery, which really put my mind at ease.
