Hi, I'm My, and this is my first time planning a trip to Seoul for consultations and to try some beauty treatments. I've heard a lot about Gangnam and Apgujeong being famous areas for aesthetic clinics, but I'm not really clear on the details. Has anyone here been abroad before? Which neighborhoods are easy to get around, close to the airport, or have good dining options?
I'm also torn about where to stay. Some of my friends have stayed at small guesthouses, while others have booked Airbnbs near the city center. What type of accommodation do you usually choose? I'm looking for something convenient but not too expensive. I've heard Gangnam has lots of options, but I'm not sure if it's pricey or affordable.
Does anyone have experience visiting Seoul a few times who could guide me? I'm planning to stay for about 5-7 days, so I want to find a comfortable place that's somewhat central. Thanks so much, everyone! 💕

I really understood your post and can relate to it so much! I'm planning to go to Seoul too, and the issue you mentioned about finding affordable accommodation that's still convenient is exactly my problem as well 😅 I hope there are some unnie here who've been many times that can give us some recommendations!
Hi My! I'm also Vietnamese and have been to Seoul a few times. My experience is that staying in Gangnam is very convenient but a bit pricey, so I usually choose nearby districts like Sinsa or Apgujeong to be close and a little more affordable. For a 5-7 day trip, Airbnb or a guesthouse near the subway is the best option because Seoul has an excellent subway system, making it easy to get around anywhere 😊 Have a great trip!
