I ate Subway today, which felt almost like lunch, and a really strange thought crossed my mind: I wonder if there really is such a thing as a "reverse sandwich" on Earth... haha.
You know how at Shake Shack, the bun is made of lettuce, so they have the "vegetable burger"?
It would be like that; vegetables would serve as the outer bread, and since it would feel a bit lacking without any carbohydrates, a thin slice of bread—like thin ham—would be placed in the middle to hold the ham or meat. Hahaha.
But come to think of it, bread also plays a role in holding the fillings in place and preventing them from falling out. I doubt that would hold it up well if something like lettuce were used to replace it.
It’s been a while since I had such a useless thought... hahaha. I just wrote it down because it suddenly popped into my head.
