After getting my ears pierced a while ago, a small lump formed behind them. It gradually grew larger and turned into a hard keloid. ㅠㅠ I usually put up with it since I could just cover it with my hair, but lately, it throbs and itches like crazy whenever it rains or I'm tired, so I can't stop touching it. I even scratch it unconsciously in my sleep until it bleeds. Every time I look in the mirror, it seems like the keloid has gotten bigger, and I feel so depressed and disillusioned. I've tried getting injections, but they only provide temporary relief, and it seems to swell up again. I think I really need to go to a hospital now that specializes in keloid excision, radiation therapy, and intensive aftercare.
