Hey everyone! So I'm finally planning my trip to Seoul in a couple months and I'm trying to figure out the logistics. I know Gangnam and Apgujeong are like THE areas for beauty clinics and everything, but I'm honestly not sure which neighborhood would be best to actually stay in? Like, should I just book a hotel right there, or are there other areas that are close by but maybe more chill to spend downtime in?
I'm planning to get a few treatments done while I'm there – nothing crazy, just some consultations and stuff I've been wanting to try – but I don't want my whole trip to be just running between clinics, you know? I'd love to actually explore Seoul too and eat good food and maybe check out some cafes or shopping or whatever.
Has anyone done a beauty trip to Seoul before? What was your experience with staying in those areas? And are there any neighborhoods nearby that you'd recommend? I'm flexible on budget but obviously don't want to waste money either lol. Any tips on how to get around or make appointments would be super helpful too!
Thanks in advance! ✨

I also just went to Seoul for the same thing a few months ago! Honestly, I chose to stay in a quieter area but still close to transportation, so I could explore while recovering. My tip is not to pack too much on the first few days; give your body time to adjust. Good luck with your trip! 😊
Wow, that's a really exciting plan! By the way, do you know how long the recovery time usually is after your consultation and treatment? I also want to explore Seoul but I'm worried I'll have to rest before I can go sightseeing 😅
I went there the first time with the same concerns 😅 I tried staying nearby and felt that I could get a much better night's sleep when I got back to my room, because I want my skin to rest well. While you're inquiring about different places, if you're interested in something quieter, try looking in the surrounding areas. It's easy to get around there but not too chaotic!
I understand! I went in a similar situation, and honestly, staying in Qiangnan is convenient, but if you want to enjoy sightseeing and meals in between consultations and treatments, I think it's also a good idea to stay in a quiet area a few subway stops away. The travel time will be a little longer, but it's a nice change of pace and you can relax in the evenings 😊
