My name is Oanh, and I'm flying to Seoul next month and super excited! It's been a long time since I've been to Korea, and this time I want to take the opportunity to experience K-beauty firsthand. I've only watched reviews of Korean skincare products on TikTok, but I've never tried them in person except for those I bought online. Does anyone have experience buying skincare products directly in Seoul? Which ones do you like best, and are they worth it compared to buying online?
Also, I want to try some beauty services there – like skin treatments or facials – but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have experience going to famous areas to find reputable places? I'm a little worried about the language barrier, but I believe it will be okay. Do you have any suggestions for areas or things to keep in mind?
My budget isn't huge, but I'm willing to spend reasonably for quality. I hope you can share your experiences and tips with me!

Hello! I was also torn about whether to get a skincare treatment when I went to Seoul last time. My advice was to try out the products in department stores in Myeongdong or Gangnam first. This way, you can directly experience the effects, and the staff are very patient! As for getting skincare services, I think you can ask around for some well-regarded small shops near where you're staying. Their prices are usually more reasonable than in popular shopping areas. Good luck! 😊
Oh, I'm interested! Oan mentioned she's bought K-beauty products online before. Is there a big difference between buying them online and in-store in Korea? Because I'm also wondering which is better to buy. 😊
