Hi, this is Mio! I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul this fall, but I'm not sure which area to stay in. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have lots of beauty clinics, but what are they really like? Are they enjoyable tourist destinations, or are they areas specifically for clinic hopping?
For those of you who are visiting from overseas, where do you usually stay? I'd love to hear about your experiences, including accessibility and atmosphere. Also, considering the time needed for consultations and appointments, how many days would be enough to move around comfortably?
This is my first solo beauty tour, so I'm a little nervous... What kind of tips do other people who are also visiting from abroad use? I'd really appreciate any advice!

Mio, it was my first time traveling alone like you, so I understand your anxiety! I stayed in the Gangnam area and found it convenient for getting around, and there were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, so I didn't get bored while waiting for my appointment. Back then, I prepared about 5-6 days in advance so I had time for consultations and could also squeeze in some sightseeing 😊
Mio, I understand! I had the same worries at first too 😅 The Qiangnan area certainly has many clinics and is convenient, but if you want to balance it with sightseeing, I recommend staying in the central area where it's easily accessible and traveling from there. Consultations and waiting times can be longer than you expect, so I think having at least 5-7 days will give you plenty of time to move around!
