Hi everyone! I'm Yating from Taiwan. I'm currently planning a beauty trip to Seoul and would love to get some practical advice from you all.
I'm a bit torn about where to stay. I know Gangnam and Apgujeong are known for having a high concentration of cosmetic clinics, but I'm not sure if staying there would be too expensive, or if it's actually convenient enough to stay in other areas? Has anyone stayed in these areas before and can share their experience? My main goal is to get some aesthetic treatments, so I'm looking for convenient transportation without too much hassle.
Also, can anyone tell me what these areas are like for daily life? Besides the clinics, are there any other places worth exploring? I'd like to enjoy the Seoul vibe during my recovery time rather than being stuck in the hotel all day, haha. I'd be so grateful if any friends who have been there are willing to share their experiences!

I also came to Seoul for beauty treatments, so I completely understand your concerns! I ended up staying in an area near Gangnam, but not right in the center, which was more budget-friendly. It was also only about a 10-minute subway ride to the clinic, which felt quite convenient. After the treatment, walking around the neighborhood really helped take my mind off things, so I wasn't constantly staring in the mirror checking my recovery, haha. I recommend giving it a try!
