Hi everyone! My name is Bee, and I'm planning a trip to Korea next month for some beauty treatments. I'd like to ask those who have been there before for recommendations on where to stay. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong are popular spots for beauty treatments, but I'm not sure if it's better to stay in those areas or elsewhere and commute.
If I stay in those areas, will it shorten the travel time and make things more convenient? And are there any reasonably priced accommodations in those areas? I'm looking for something not too expensive 😅 This is my first time in Korea, so I've never been before.
For those with experience, which areas are good to visit? Which areas are convenient for foreigners like us? Are there lots of food options? What's the atmosphere like? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Last time I went to Seoul, I also stayed near Gangnam, and it was indeed much more convenient, saving me the daily commute! However, accommodation in Gangnam is quite expensive. I later found that a bit further out along the subway lines, there are many guesthouses and small hotels with good value for money. It only takes about 10-plus minutes by subway to get there. I recommend you try searching on Naver Maps!
Hello Bee! This is my first time in Korea too, I totally get how you're feeling 😅 I ended up booking a guesthouse near Gangnam. While the rent was a bit pricier, saving on commute time was really worth it. Plus, the subway there is super convenient, and foreigners can easily navigate with Naver Maps~
