Hi everyone! I'm Chiawei, from Taipei, Taiwan. I'm so happy to have found this community and wanted to introduce myself first.
Honestly, I didn't have a deep understanding of Korean beauty and skincare before, but in the past few months, I've been drawn to my friends' skin conditions (they all say it's because they use Korean products and get regular treatments), coupled with my own skin acting up lately. So, I decided to research what makes K-beauty so different. I'm currently learning as I read through posts, and it feels like Korea really emphasizes the details and steps in skincare.
What I'm most interested in right now is understanding how to choose the right skincare steps for myself, and if I were to go to Korea, what treatments would be worth experiencing. I'd also love to hear about everyone's real experiences, because online information can sometimes be a bit overwhelming XD. I hope to meet some experienced sisters here. Thank you all!

Hi Chiawei, welcome! I'm also from Southeast Asia and just starting to explore K-beauty, so I totally understand how you feel. I'm also really curious about the skincare procedures that are said to be different in Korea—hopefully, we can share experiences and information together here! 😊
Hi Chiawei! I'm also from Southeast Asia, so I totally get you 😄 I wanted to ask if you've tried any K-beauty products yet, or if you're just starting to explore? I'm also trying to figure out which routine works best for my skin.
