Hey everyone! I'm heading to Seoul for two weeks in the spring and I'm honestly so excited but also a little overwhelmed. I've heard so much about the skincare culture there and I really want to experience some of the aesthetic treatments people talk about. I'm mostly curious about getting facials or maybe some lighter procedures I could do as a tourist — nothing too intense, just want to see what the hype is about.
Does anyone have thoughts on what's actually worth trying when you're visiting? I'm thinking of exploring some of the areas known for beauty clinics, but I have no idea where to start or what questions to ask. Also, would it be easier to book stuff in advance or just walk in somewhere? I'm a bit nervous about the language barrier, but I'm hoping some places have English-speaking staff since there are so many international visitors.
And skincare-wise, I know Korean beauty products are amazing — are there specific product categories or ingredient types I should hunt for while I'm there? I'm mostly looking for hydrating and brightening stuff if that helps. Would love to hear from anyone who's done similar trips or tried things out there! Thanks in advance 💕
