Hey everyone! I'm planning my first trip to Korea specifically for some aesthetic treatments and skincare shopping, and I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed by all the neighborhood options. I keep hearing about Gangnam and Apgujeong being the main hubs for this stuff, but I'm not sure what the actual vibe is like or where would be best to base myself.
I'm thinking I'd want to be somewhere walkable with good cafes and maybe some chill spots to recover between appointments, you know? Has anyone stayed in these areas before? Are they super touristy or more local? I'm also curious about other neighborhoods that might have good clinics but are maybe a bit quieter.
Also — real talk — what's the lodging situation like? Should I look for a hotel, an Airbnb, or are there other options I'm not thinking of? I want something clean and comfortable but not necessarily crazy expensive. Any tips from people who've done this would be amazing! 💕

Not sure which clinic to choose?

I was in the same situation before I went 😅 The truth is, the area you choose makes a big difference in the whole experience, not just in the treatments but also in comfort and relaxation between sessions. I preferred a slightly less crowded place because I need to breathe a little after everything, and quiet cafes really help with psychological recovery before the next appointment 🙂
