Hey everyone! So I'm planning my first trip to Seoul specifically to explore some beauty treatments and aesthetic stuff, and I'm totally overwhelmed by how many neighborhoods there are. I keep seeing Gangnam and Apgujeong mentioned everywhere online, but honestly I have no idea which one would actually be better for what I'm looking for.
I'm curious — where do most of you foreigners end up staying when you're there for beauty appointments? Is one neighborhood way more foreigner-friendly than the other? I'm assuming the clinics are spread out across the city, so location probably matters depending on where you book, but I'd love to know if there's like a "hub" area that's easier to navigate as someone who barely speaks Korean.
Also, has anyone done beauty trips solo before? I'm a little nervous about traveling alone but also kind of excited? Any tips on what I should know before I land? And if you have neighborhood recommendations (vibe, accessibility, good food, etc.), I'm all ears! Thanks in advance 💕
