I plan to post before/after photos or daily recovery updates on my personal social media after surgery or a procedure. When would be a safe time to do so?
Please share guidelines on using filters and editing, whether hospital consent is required, and tips on how to handle sensitive comments and DMs.

Not sure which clinic to choose?

It is safer to check with medical staff when posting is permitted, minimize editing, hide hospital and other people's information, and direct sensitive questions to a hospital consultation rather than a DM.
It's safe to proceed after the minimum recovery period (usually 2-4 weeks, check with the clinic for specific procedures). Before-and-after photos are best when unedited and taken under identical conditions.
Obtain consent before featuring clinic/medical staff. For comments and DMs, advise users that results vary greatly and direct medical questions to the clinic for consultation.
It's safest to post after your recovery is stable (usually after confirmation from medical staff), avoid excessive editing or filters, and confirm consent before revealing the clinic name/medical staff. It's also wise to draw a line to prevent comments and DMs from turning into personal medical consultations.
It would be best to upload photos after your recovery has stabilized and you've received confirmation from your medical team, being mindful of personal information and clinic names, and refraining from excessive retouching or filters.
