Hey everyone! So I'm planning a trip to Seoul in the fall and I'm really excited to finally do some of the beauty stuff I've been researching forever. I'm thinking of getting a few treatments done while I'm there, and I want to make the most of my time.
I've heard a lot about Gangnam and Apgujeong being like the main spots for this stuff, but honestly I'm not sure what the actual differences are between them? Like, is one better for tourists or easier to navigate? And are there other neighborhoods I should be looking at too? I don't want to miss out on exploring a cool area just because I'm tunnel-visioned on one spot.
Also—where do other foreign visitors usually stay? I'm wondering if it's better to be right in the thick of it or somewhere quieter that's still accessible. Does anyone have favorite areas that felt safe and convenient but not totally overrun with tourists? I'm traveling solo so I want to feel comfortable but also be close enough to clinics and maybe some good cafes and stuff.
Would love to hear what you all have found works best! Any tips appreciated 😊
