Many people worry about it being painful, and that was my biggest concern too.

However, it was actually better than I expected. The sensation varied slightly depending on the area; with Ultherapy, I felt a warming sensation and a tingling sensation around my jawline and cheeks, but it wasn't unbearable. (With Thermage, it was just a hot sensation...) Still, they checked the intensity periodically and kept checking to see if I was okay, so I was able to receive the treatment much more comfortably. Since they examined each layer of my face in one go, tailored to my condition, I felt afterward that this is why they do a combination treatment. Also, he was really meticulous, and maybe because he is a man, he seemed to have a lot of strength... lol.

**2. Bruising and Swelling**

There was some slight swelling at the beginning. But it wasn't to the point where anyone would notice it was severe.

To me, it felt like my face was just a little swollen. It was just a feeling.

There were no bruises.

3. Lasting Effect

It felt like the results improved over time rather than stopping immediately after the procedure.
