Hi everyone! My name is Hui, and I'm from China. I'm currently planning a beauty trip to Seoul this year. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a lot of medical aesthetics clinics, but I'm not really sure about the specifics of these areas. Has anyone from abroad stayed there and could share their experience?

I'm mainly interested in knowing what the surrounding amenities are like in these two areas, besides the abundance of medical aesthetics clinics. For example, accommodation, dining, and shopping. I'm looking for a place that's convenient for treatments but also not too boring. Some people say Gangnam is more commercialized, while Apgujeong is more high-end? But I'm really not sure.

Also, I wanted to ask everyone, do you usually choose to stay near the medical aesthetics areas, or in touristy places like Myeongdong or Hongdae? It feels like running back and forth every day would be quite a hassle. I'm curious about how you all plan your trips!
