Hiii everyone! I'm Yen, and I'm heading to Seoul at the end of this month for a trip to explore K-beauty. It's my first time having the chance to go, so I'm a little nervous. I want to learn about beauty experiences there, but I'm not sure where to start.
I've heard that skincare in Seoul is very famous, and there are many places located close to each other in shopping districts. Could you ladies recommend any treatments or skincare services I should try? I'm not too keen on anything too intense, but I'm curious about different skincare experiences beyond the usual.
Also, I'd like to know what I should prepare before going to these places. Do I need to book in advance, or is walk-in okay? I'm a bit worried about communication as I only speak Vietnamese and a little English 😅 Have any of you been before? Please share your experiences with me!

Hi Yên! I'm also a foreign traveler like you, and I totally get the nervousness haha 😅 From my experience, skincare places in Seoul are mostly chill and many have English-speaking staff, so don't worry! I recommend pre-booking through their app or website to make things smoother, especially if you plan to visit on busy days. Good luck, your first experience in Seoul will surely be amazing!
Hi Yên! When I first went to Seoul, I also recommend preparing a list of places you want to visit beforehand, and then using a translation app to help with communication. Most people are patient and accommodating! 💕 Some places don't even require advance booking! 😊
Hey Yan, I visited Seoul last summer and I was in the same boat as you! 😄 My advice is to prepare a list of the services you want before you go, and try to book appointments from home through apps or booking sites because popular places are usually very busy. And regarding the language, don't worry too much, there's Google Translate and helpful staff in the shops who are good at communicating with visitors.
