Hi everyone! I'm Peiyun, from Taiwan. I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul soon and want to experience the vibe of Korean beauty treatments. But honestly, I'm still pretty unfamiliar with Seoul, so I'd love to ask you experienced sisters a few questions!
Everyone says Gangnam and Apgujeong are beauty meccas, but I'm not really sure what the differences are. Can anyone share their personal experience? Like the clinic density in each area, price range, convenience of transportation, that kind of thing? I'm looking for somewhere with good options but not too complicated.
Also about accommodation—would anyone recommend staying near the medical aesthetics district? Or is it more convenient to stay in Myeongdong or other tourist areas? I'd like to see how you all plan your trips. And if you've stayed at any nice guesthouses or hotels (not advertising, just places you've actually tried), I'd love to hear about those too!
Looking forward to your insights~ Thanks so much!

Hey Peiyun! I've been to Seoul too and I think Gangnam is busier with more options, but Apgujeong is quieter and easier to navigate if you don't want the stress. I'd recommend staying close to that beauty area so it's convenient right after your treatment — you can usually just walk back to your hotel or watch some K-dramas while you rest hehe 😊
Hey Peiyun! I'm curious, have you been to Seoul before or is this your first time? I'm actually considering whether to stay near the clinic area or in a tourist area, so I'd like to hear about other people's experiences before I book 😊
Reading your post made me feel so happy because I'm actually planning something similar! I'm also curious about which areas are the best and where would be most convenient to stay. I'm really hoping people in the community will share their real experiences with us! 🥰
