Hi everyone! My name is Lan, and I'm from China. I recently joined this community and I'm quite excited. I've been browsing Xiaohongshu for a long time, seeing content about Korean beauty and medical aesthetics, and I've been really inspired. So, I wanted to find a place to discuss and exchange ideas with all of you.
Actually, I started paying attention to K-beauty mainly because I saw friends who went to Korea for skin management return with noticeably improved complexions. My current skin condition is average, with enlarged pores and some dullness, so I want to learn more about beauty treatments, especially the popular methods in Korea. However, I'm still a bit unfamiliar with medical aesthetics and not sure if it's really suitable for me.
I hope to learn some practical knowledge here and also hear about everyone's real experiences and advice. Has anyone else started following K-beauty for similar reasons? I'm really looking forward to chatting with you all!

I'm also Vietnamese and actually started getting into K-beauty when I saw friends returning from Korea with really bright, smooth skin 😄 With similar skin concerns to yours, I've found that maintaining a consistent skincare routine (layering products correctly) + drinking plenty of water has helped a lot with pores.
