Hi everyone! I'm Xia, and I'm considering going to Seoul in October to get some cosmetic procedures done, but I'm not very familiar with the city. I've heard there are a lot of cosmetic clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong, but I'm unsure which area to stay in for convenience. Have any of you ladies been there and could share your experiences?
I mainly want to inquire about skin management and possible smaller procedures, but I have absolutely no idea about transportation, hotel prices, or the surrounding environment in these areas. Is it necessary to stay near a cosmetic clinic for convenience? Or are there other good areas? I also want to do some shopping and eat out, so I'd like to get a feel for the atmosphere of each area.
Also, if anyone has been there recently, could you share some accommodation recommendations? For example, convenience of transportation, safety, etc. I'm unsure how long I should stay; could someone tell me how long it usually takes? Thank you everyone!

Hi! I also just went to Seoul for my first time last month for a skin treatment, and in my experience, staying in or around Gangnam is the most practical because it's close to many clinics and has easy transportation. But don't forget to leave time for sightseeing and eating, because there are lots of great cafes and restaurants around there! 😊
Hello! I understand if you're from abroad :) I was placed in the Gangnam area, so it wouldn't take long to walk - the location was good and the garden area was nice! But after listening to someone, it might be better to take a place in another area of the district, for example in the Myeongdong area, because there are a lot of shops there.
I'm also going to Seoul this fall, so you're not alone! I think it would be better not to stay around Gangnam, because you'll have more options there. I'm also getting good information about identity verification and traffic conditions.
When I went to Seoul last time, I was also a little worried about the hassle, but I found that staying near a subway station was more convenient than staying next to a hospital because you can easily take public transport to different places! If you're going to do skincare or simple treatments, I think it's not necessary to be super close to a hospital; convenient transportation is the most important thing 😊
I visited Seoul last summer and it's true that staying near the hospitals is easier because you save time commuting and can focus on resting after treatment. But personally, I preferred to stay in an area with nightlife and food so I wouldn't feel like I was in a strange city, so try to find an area nearby, but not exactly on the same street! 😄
