Hello everyone! I'm Ratna, from Indonesia. So I've finally booked my ticket to Seoul for next month and honestly, I'm super excited!! 🛫 This will be my first time exploring the Korean beauty scene firsthand, and I want to make the most of this trip.
I'm mostly interested in skincare treatments and consultations, as my skin is quite sensitive and I really want to know how Korean dermatologists handle such issues. Plus, I'm curious about facial treatments that are said to be very different from what we have here. Has anyone tried them? Are they worth it? I don't know exactly what treatment I want yet, but I'm looking for something gentle that shows immediate results.
Also, I plan to visit some famous skincare areas, but honestly, I'm overwhelmed by the sheer number of options. Any recommendations for areas that are tourist-friendly and have plenty of clinics? Budget-wise, I'm looking for something reasonable but also good quality. Hopefully, someone can guide me!
Thank you so much if anyone is willing to share their experiences or tips! Can't wait! 💫

Ratna, hello! A friend of mine went to Seoul this year and felt the exact same way — she spent so much time on her studies 😄 If you don't know yet, I recommend getting a consultation first. Your doctor will be able to tell you exactly which procedures are suitable for your skin type and concerns. I've heard that Mondays are very different, but that's exactly what you need! It's wonderful that you're planning to get good recommendations from here afterwards ✨
Hi Ratna, I'm also planning a trip to Seoul next quarter to explore K-beauty, so I was excited to read this post! 😄 I have sensitive skin too, so I'm really curious about how the doctors there give consultations – do you think it's different from Vietnam? Wishing you luck finding a suitable place and looking forward to your review after your trip!
Haha! I was also thinking of going to Seoul next month, so I was especially happy to see your post 😄 Hearing you mention sensitive skin, I'm the same way and really want to see how Korean dermatologists handle it. I hope you can share your experience after you go, especially those gentle yet effective treatments!
