Hey everyone! So I'm finally booking a trip to Seoul in a couple months and I'm kind of overwhelmed by all the options, haha. I'm definitely interested in exploring some aesthetic treatments while I'm there, so I'm trying to figure out the best neighborhood to base myself in.
I keep hearing about Gangnam and Apgujeong being the main beauty hotspots, but I'm not totally sure what the actual differences are between them? Like, is one more touristy than the other? And are there other areas I should be looking at? I want somewhere that feels accessible but also has good energy, you know?
Also, for accommodation—has anyone else stayed in different districts and had a preference? I'm trying to balance being near clinics and shops but also actually enjoying my time there and not feeling like I'm just jumping from appointment to appointment.
Would love to hear from other foreigners who've done beauty trips! Any recommendations on where you stayed and why you loved it?

I understand! I'm struggling with the same thing and researching the atmosphere of different regions. Finding a balance between accessibility as a tourist destination and ease of providing treatments is crucial, isn't it? It's really hard to decide whether to stay in one place or move around and stay in different locations.😅
That's great! It's good that you're planning to visit several areas. What are your main beauty-related activities planned? That way you can choose areas that best suit your interests, because each neighborhood seems to have different characteristics.
Haha, I'm planning the same itinerary! I'm also struggling with which area to stay in. Your idea seems very practical; I don't want to spend all my time rushing to different clinics. I also hope to find a place that's both convenient and comfortable so I can truly enjoy Seoul!
