Hi everyone! I'm Yating from Taiwan. I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul, but I'm a bit undecided about where to stay. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have many beauty clinics and medical aesthetic treatments, but honestly, I'm not sure about the differences between these two areas, or how convenient the accommodations are.
Have any other international friends been there? How did you choose your accommodations? Is it closer to stay in Gangnam, or are other areas also good? I mainly want to get some basic skincare and simple treatments, so I'd prefer a place with convenient transportation and a high concentration of clinics.
Also, I'd like to ask if you have any advice for first-time beauty treatments in Seoul? Like, how far in advance should I book, or are there any things I should be aware of? Thank you all! I look forward to hearing your experiences!

Hey Yating, I was also struggling to choose a place, hehe. I think Gangnam is more convenient because there are so many places close together, easy to walk to or take the subway to, while Apgujeong is a bit further from the city center. I recommend you book a room in Gangnam to save time and make commuting easier!
Hey Yating! Are you thinking you'd want to stay right in the area where you'll be getting treatments, or would you be okay with taking subway/taxi if it meant a cooler neighborhood vibe? Just curious because I feel like that might change where you'd want to base yourself!
